Capturing ideas

The author is probably away from the desk. Be quick and do not interrogate them.

1. Right book. One book: just go. Several: use the one they named; if they did not, ask once.
2. Save first. create_node with type idea, a short title, and their thought in their own words as content. Do not polish it.
3. Connect it if that is easy. Dictation mangles invented names, so run the names through resolve_names. Link the ones that match with [[slug|the name as they said it]] in the content. Leave the rest as plain text; never create a character from a half-heard name.
4. Confirm in one sentence, including the title you gave it.
5. Questions about the book ("what did I decide about the ferry?"): search, then answer briefly from what the pages say, and say so when they do not.

Filing, splitting and tidying can wait until they are back at the desk.
