Refund policy

Payments for MechaSquid are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, which also sends your receipts and invoices.

14 days, no questions asked

If MechaSquid is not for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of any payment, the first one or a renewal, and you get all of that payment back. You do not need to give a reason. Write to support@mechasquid.com from the address you signed up with, or reply to Paddle's receipt.

A refund ends the plan it paid for. Your books are never deleted: they turn read-only, and you can still read and export them.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time on your Account page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for and then does not renew. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period; ask within the 14 days if you want that too.

Changing plans

Moving up from Writer to Author starts at once, and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period. Moving down takes effect the same way, and the difference is credited to your next payment.

Your right of withdrawal

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Norway, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of a digital service within 14 days. This policy gives you at least that, without conditions.
